Jr. Girls Basketball

The Junior Girls basketball is dedicated to those girls in grades 9 and 10. The girls compete in the Southern Conference Athletic Association as a “AAA” team, this is one of the four conferences of the NBIAA. The basketball season runs from November till mid-February.

This season the team was composed of eleven first year players and one returning player from last season’s team. The girls played 25 games this year and were successful in one of their games. The girls competed in the Peticodiac Invitational Tournament finishing with a 2 and 1 record. With every practice and game the girls greatly improved their individual skills, team play and as student athletes. Every trip and home game was a mixture of hard work and laughter throughout the season.

To those girls who have completed their Junior eligibility or plan to move to the senior team we all wish you the best of luck!

With potentially eight players returning next season there is anticipation for a great season in 2008-2009.
