A Letter from Resource

If you are a parent of a student who is on a Special Education Plan please click here to read a letter from the resource department. Click here for an information letter concerning recent changes made to SEP's by the Department of Education.

The Resource Centre provides support to students with a wide range of special needs including learning disabilities or disabilities of an intellectual, physical, sensory, emotional or behavioral nature.

A Special Education Plan (SEP) is used in the program planning for students with specific learning needs. The planning may include accommodations, modifications, or individualization in the regular program. See links below for a description of each.

Definitions and Accommodations

Accommodations could be provided through direct support (indicates the student is provided with accommodations, in the classroom as well as individual support) or Indirect support (indicates the student is provided with accommodations in the classroom).
